1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any WalkCities mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides self-guided walking tour content including GPS navigation, audio narration, maps, and attraction information. The App is available on iOS and Android.

3. Purchases

The App may include free content. Additional tours may be unlocked through one-time in-app purchases processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their respective terms.

• All purchases are one-time payments. There are no subscriptions.
• All sales are final unless required otherwise by applicable law.
• Refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or resell any tour content, audio narration, or images from the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

5. Content Accuracy

Tour descriptions, directions, and attraction information are provided for informational and entertainment purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is current or error-free. Historical and cultural content may contain simplifications.

6. Safety

You use the App at your own risk. Always be aware of your surroundings, obey traffic signals, and exercise common sense while walking. The App uses GPS to show your position on the map, but you are responsible for your own safety at all times. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while using the App.

7. Offline Content

The App allows you to download map tiles and audio files for offline use. Downloaded content is stored locally on your device and is licensed for personal use only.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including tour scripts, audio narration, images, maps, and software — is owned by WalkCities or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that GPS positioning will be accurate in all conditions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WalkCities and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
